Vera Clinic Reviews & Analysis

Going on my 3rd month after receiving my transplant with Vera Clinic. So far, it's not looking bad at all, so I will leave my review of the entire process. Getting a hold of them is not hard and they are quite good at staying in touch and offering you options. After you do your consultation, they'll let you know what would work best for you, however, I was told I'd get 5k grafts (hold on to that thought). So, i scheduled my surgery with them, it was within a week, but they still accommodated me. The procedure and rest time take 3 days, but I wanted to spend an extra day to see Istambul, so they were kind enough to give me one extra day in the hotel for free (THANK YOU for that). Arrived at the airport, instructions were clear, so got picked up quickly. Hotel was amazing and check in was fast. Next day, for the consultation, after a review of my scalp, I was told my hair was thinning or too thin, then they made my outline where the grafts would be removed and replaced... then, after agreeing to pay, you pay (Note: Cash comes with more savings than using card). After that, you change clothes then pictures before/after shaving your head. Then, off to the surgery. I was introduced to the entire team and off we went. Not going to lie, the Anesthesia was the most painful part, the rest I couldn't feel (it was still uncomfortable but manageable). Mid procedure (after extraction), it was lunch break, which was quite delicious for what it was (a quick sandwich and small dessert), it was off to start the 2nd part, inserting the grafts. This process was just as the extraction, it didn't hurt, but it was annoying. There was a spot which did hurt, and I was offered more anesthesia (for free, btw), but when I was told they were almost done, I just manned up. We finished, bandages applied and went on to talk to an advisor that gives you a package with pills (pain killers, anti inflammatory and anti-biotics) instructions on when to take them and how to sleep (they showed me first, then gave me the instructions). A short wait then i was transported back to hotel to rest. The trying to sleep is complicated, but eventually you get used to it for that night. Next day, after breakfast, you get transported for your hair wash and red light therapy. Then they instruct you on how to care for your hair for the next few weeks. You are given a shampoo and a moisturizer and a set of instructions. You are also offered some other products to help speed up the healing and growth, but you can decline them (they are not pushy). Finally, they give you your certificate for the operation/warranty, I only received 3500 grafts (not 5000), but again, my hair has been thinning so there was not much they can do, so be ready for that. Next day, off it was to the airport. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience. My only thing was that everything happened so fast at times that I missed some of the info (I thought I didn't get my PRP shot, but they told me they did that first (they just didn't tell me at the moment). I definitely recommend Vera Clinic to anyone that wants to have a hair transplant, they are pretty good at what they do!

Ich war Dezember 2024 in der Klinik. Vor Ort und die OP verliefen gut. An und für sich hat die Transplantation das Problem auch besser gemacht. Aber die kahle Stelle am Hinterkopf ist nun nach 15 Monaten immer noch nicht ganz weg. Es ist nicht wie versprochen oder wir auf den Werbebildern. Vor Ort hieß es, wenn ich unzufrieden bin gibt es eine kostenlose Verbesserung mit Hotel und Shuttle wie bei ersten Mal und ich müsste wie zuvor nur den Flug bezahlen. Die Garantie wurde für 12 Monate zugesagt. Nun heißt es plötzlich, dass es so nicht sei bzw. wir 15 Monate warten sollen, dann würde ein Arzt es nicht nochmal anschauen und bewerten. Meine Zufriedenheit scheint keine Rolle mehr zu spielen. Ich werde ständig vertröstet und jetzt wo die 15 Monate um sind, hat sich keiner mehr gemeldet. In Summe bin ich etwas enttäuscht, da das Ergebnis nicht wie geworben und versprochen ist und sich nun auch keiner mehr meldet. Um fair zu sei, die OP an sich verlief gut und es ist etwas besser geworden. Deshalb die 2 Sterne. Aber das ich, obwohl ich nach 9 Monaten schon klar gemacht habe, dass ich unzufrieden bin, immer nur vertröstet wurde und nun ausgenutzt wird, dass die Garantie abgelaufen ist, ist für mich einfach unprofessionell. Daher kann ich die Klinik nicht empfehlen. Auch dass sich jetzt keiner mehr meldet, obwohl der Arzt nach 15 Monaten nochmal gucken wollte, ist für mich unprofessionell.

I was at the clinic in December 2024. The procedure and the surgery went well. The transplant itself did improve the problem. However, the bald spot on the back of my head is still not completely gone after 15 months. It's not as promised or as shown in the promotional photos. At the clinic, they told me that if I was dissatisfied, there would be a free follow-up appointment with hotel and shuttle service, just like the first time, and I would only have to pay for the flight, as before. The guarantee was given for 12 months. Now, suddenly, they're saying that's not the case, or rather, that we should wait 15 months, after which a doctor won't re-examine and assess it. My satisfaction no longer seems to matter. I'm constantly being put off, and now that the 15 months are up, no one has contacted me. Overall, I'm somewhat disappointed because the result isn't as advertised and promised, and now no one is getting in touch. To be fair, the surgery itself went well, and it has improved somewhat. That's why I'm giving it two stars. But the fact that, even though I made it clear after nine months that I was dissatisfied, I was constantly given the runaround and am now being exploited because the warranty has expired, is simply unprofessional in my opinion. Therefore, I cannot recommend this clinic. The fact that no one is contacting me now, even though the doctor was supposed to check on me again after 15 months, is also unprofessional.

Great place, very knowledgeable. Also have a few extra things that some other places don’t offer.
